Art Basel, the world’s most important international fair for modern and contemporary art, established in 1970, will make its final stop for 2024 in Miami Beach after Basel, Hong Kong, and Paris. This fair event has always brought together the most prominent galleries from across the continent, showcasing a fresh generation of art stars. Keeping up with market trends, Art Basel stands as the world’s most significant platform for the art system, collecting, and art publishing.
The publishing house Start will present all of its art publications released throughout the year at the fair, including exhibition catalogs, monographs, artist books, and, above all, the oldest illustrated yearbook, Atlas of Contemporary Art, which has been in bookstores since 1940. The booth will also feature works by prominent international artists featured in the editorial publications, including ADGART (Antonello Diodato Guardigli), Josine Dupont, Saori Kanda, Marco Manzo.
The Start booth will also showcase a unique “artist book” with numerous graphic works—and more—by key figures in today’s art world. This immersive journey of cultural discovery will offer encounters and conversations with great masters, all through the lens and poetry of art.
